AFPS Tracker Quick-Scan Overview

Static visual screens for the approved ui-quick-scan-overview experiment. The build stops at minimum UI for each flow step and leaves all runtime, state, and route wiring for $logic-wiring.

Screen Artifact

Open experiments/afps-tracker/ui-quick-scan-overview/index.html. It renders the five flow-step batches in order: loading scan, portfolio overview, selected row preview, empty/no-AFPS state, and blocking diagnostic summary.

Flow-Tree State

The UI experiment node in design/afps-tracker/flow-tree-afps-tracker.yaml now records experiment_path, review_evidence, and five build_ledger[] entries with status minimum-ui-reached.

Operator sees active and parallel AFPS paths without manually reading raw repository files.

Primary Task Path

Open tracker, scan repo-local AFPS artifacts, review source-health and grouped path rows, select a path, then carry trust and warning context forward.

Exit / Success State

A selected active or warning-level path is visually ready for downstream selected-path verification; blocked and empty states prevent false clean continuation.

Batch Flow Step Elements Added Evidence
1 loading-scan Repo header, scan status, source/count skeletons, grouped-row skeletons, and no-network note. Reads as current local scan with unresolved trust.
2 portfolio-overview Source-health strip, count summary, active-first grouped rows, warning badges, trust badges, suppression reasons, and row selection. Operator can identify active/parallel/context paths and visible warnings.
3 selected-row-preview Selected row highlight, compact preview, continue affordance, and enabled/disabled reasoning. Selection confirmation stays compact and does not become verification.
4 empty-no-afps-state Empty result panel, checked-source list, diagnostics badges, and disabled continue reason. No fabricated active-route guidance appears when source artifacts do not support it.
5 blocking-diagnostic-summary Blocking banner, readable rows, unsafe action suppression, affected-source summary, and disabled continue reason. Blocking facts interrupt false confidence while preserving readable context.

Boundaries

Fake Data Boundary

  • All path rows, counts, warnings, source-health values, diagnostics, and timestamps are fixture-only.
  • No repo parser, file watcher, live source read, durable storage, analytics, auth, deployment, command execution, or copy/export behavior was introduced.
  • Controls are visual affordances only; they do not navigate or mutate state.

Deferred Infrastructure

  • Clickable routes and state transitions belong to $logic-wiring.
  • Selected-path verification, source/provenance inspection, diagnostics recovery, boundary explanation, and final handoff/export remain sibling flows.
  • Production parser, persistence, auth, accounts, collaboration, observability, deployment, and write-back stay out of scope.

What this establishes

The approved Quick-Scan Overview UI branch now has concrete visual screens for its first-value orientation path and its empty/blocking guardrails. The next review should check warning prominence, row scanning speed, selected-preview discipline, and whether disabled/suppressed reasons are explicit enough.

Handoff verification: continue-design-branch; visual screens are ready for $logic-wiring to make them clickable and state-backed. Consolidation remains blocked until wiring and later evaluation evidence exist.
